South Coast Spring Cleaning Checklist

The South Coast has a specific spring problem: a long winter of salt, mildew, and pine pollen all decide to show up at the same time on the south-facing siding. Here's the order we recommend.

March

Roof first, if it's been more than four years. Soft wash kills the algae before it shows up green.

April

House wash. Get the salt off, knock back the mildew. Coastal homes especially.

Early May

Concrete and pavers. Driveway, walkway, patio. This is also the right time to re-sand paver joints if needed.

Mid-May

Deck and fence. Clean and brighten. If you're staining, schedule the stain crew for 48–72 hours after we finish.

By Memorial Day, the property reads as maintained. By July, you're not embarrassed when company arrives.

We schedule spring routes starting in February. The earlier you call, the better the slot.
